Life and death are constructs that we use to communicate together about the unknown—outside our experience.
We know that our experience begins and we watch the experience of others begin.
We see the experience of others change, and we see their bodies break down into base components.
We have so little experience with what happens to identity and individuality when bodies die.
Uncertainty and unfamiliarity breed discomfort and, sometimes, fear.
Myths give us comfort and the semblance of answers, creating a shared narrative that we agree is true, without really knowing.
I am comfortable not knowing how my experience will change when my body deconstructs.
Those questions will be answered someday, but today, I am alive in my experience and it is sweet and vibrant.
Enjoy!
Thanks for watching!
